Car detailing is a methodical clean and restoration of a vehicle, inside and out. Paintwork, glass, wheels and trim are cleaned by hand, the cabin is vacuumed and wiped down, and at higher levels the paint is decontaminated, machine corrected and protected.
Every vehicle is detailed by hand at our facility on Green Lane East, Greenlane. Our packages build on each other, from an exterior hand wash to multi-stage paint correction with a GTECHNIQ ceramic coating, so you can choose exactly the level of care your vehicle needs.

Choose Your Package
Interior, Exterior and Paint Detailing.
Exterior Only
Express is the outside of the car only: a hand wash and wax, towel dry, wheels, tyres and wheel arches. It suits cars that are already tidy inside.
Interior Only
Interior is the cabin only: seats, carpets, mats and the boot are vacuumed, vents and door pockets are air-dusted, and the dashboard, trim and doors are cleaned. Specialised treatments for pet hair, stained fabrics and odours can be added.
Inside and Out
Bronze, Silver and Gold include both the exterior and the interior in one visit. Bronze covers the essentials, Silver adds exterior mouldings and a full interior wipe-down, and Gold adds leather surfaces and the engine bay.
Inside, Out and Paint
Black and Platinum include the exterior and interior, plus paint correction and coating options. Black adds a clay-bar, a 1-step correction and sealant, with an optional GTECHNIQ GT1 coating. Platinum uses 2-3 correction stages and includes GTECHNIQ EXOv5, with GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Light and Crystal Serum Ultra coating options.
GTECHNIQ Ceramic Coatings and Paint Protection
As an accredited GTECHNIQ applicator, we apply ceramic coatings only after the paint has been prepared and corrected. Black can be upgraded with GT1, and Platinum includes EXOv5, with Crystal Serum Light and Crystal Serum Ultra available for longer-term protection.

Car Detailing Questions.
- What is the difference between a car wash and car detailing?
- A car wash cleans the surface. Detailing goes further: interior surfaces are cleaned properly, wheels, arches, trim and engine bays are included at higher levels, and the paint itself can be decontaminated, corrected and protected.
- How long does car detailing take at Carfē?
- It depends on the package. Express takes 30-60 minutes, Silver around 60-90 minutes and Gold 60-120 minutes. Black is a one-day service and Platinum takes one to two days.
- How much does car detailing cost in Auckland?
- At Carfē, prices are set by package and vehicle size, so a hatchback costs less than a 7-seater. Every package shows its small, medium and large price before you book.
- Do you offer interior-only or exterior-only detailing?
- Yes. Interior is our inside-only service and Express is our exterior-only hand wash. Bronze and above cover both.
- Which package removes swirl marks?
- Paint correction starts with Black, which includes a 1-step machine correction for light swirl marks and haze. Platinum uses 2-3 correction stages for heavier defects before a GTECHNIQ ceramic coating is applied.
- Where are you located?
