Carfē was founded in 2001 with a simple, stubborn idea: that a car deserves more than a queue and a rushed rinse. That the person handing over the keys deserves a room worth waiting in. That premium isn't a price tag - it's a standard, held every day, on every vehicle.
Twenty-five years later, that idea still shapes everything we do. The facility is larger, the equipment is world-class, and the process is refined - but the fundamentals are the same. Care. Craft. Consistency.

Carfē opens as a family-run, purpose-built grooming and detailing facility in Auckland - multiple bays, one relentless standard from day one.

We pass half a million vehicles cared for. Every one of them mattered.

Facility Renovations & Online Booking
The Greenlane facility is rebuilt around workflow, lighting and airflow - engineered for concours-level finishing - and the Carfē booking engine goes live with real availability, instant confirmation and no phone tag.

Services Expand, Premium Tiers & Ceramic Coatings
Interior restoration, machine polishing and paint enrichment join the menu as demand grows beyond routine grooming. Grooming and detailing tiers are formalised into a repeatable framework for consistent, world-class results - and we become an accredited GTECHNIQ applicator, adding certified ceramic protection to the facility's capability.
